Collaboration: Overview

Written by amaise Support

Collaboration in amaise lets you work with others — directly within the case. You can access collaboration via the icon in the tool bar on the right edge of the screen.

Three ways to collaborate

Direct request (chat)

Ask a colleague or an external contact a quick question via chat. The request is created automatically as soon as you select a recipient.

Formal request to external service providers

Send a structured request to an external service provider (e.g., an expert office). These requests follow a formal process with assignment to an expert, response, and review by an administrator.

Mention a colleague

Address someone directly in a case note or a dashboard answer with @. The mentioned person gets a bell notification and an email with a link that takes them straight to the spot.

For experts and administrators

If you work at an external service provider and handle requests, here is the guide for managing incoming requests — from both the administrator’s and expert’s perspective.

Access management

Control who can access a case. Manage access permissions, add external users, and restrict document access.

Requests overview

The requests overview is the central page for all collaboration requests — formal requests and direct chat requests are shown together here. You can reach it via the left navigation bar.

If you work as an external employee of an external service provider, the requests overview is your main view in this workspace.
