AI assistants: Overview

Written by amaise Support

amaise provides you with three specialized AI assistants that help you with different tasks. All pilots open as a panel on the right edge and can also be detached into a separate window.

The three pilots at a glance

CasePilot — Ask the case

CasePilot analyzes all documents in the case and answers case-related questions with source references. Ideal for summaries, diagnosis overviews, or timelines.

DocPilot — Ask the document

DocPilot answers questions about the currently open document or a selection of up to 5 documents that you add by drag-and-drop.

LegalPilot — Legal research

LegalPilot supports you with general legal questions — independent of the documents in the case. It is currently in beta.

Opening and switching pilots

You open CasePilot and DocPilot via their icons in the tool bar on the right edge. Inside the panel, the speed dial to the left of the input field switches between the pilots at any time — LegalPilot is available only there, via the gavel icon.

Why answers can vary

AI answers are generated, not looked up — the same question can lead to differently worded answers. What that means and how amaise checks every answer automatically:
