Dashboards: Frequently asked questions

Answers to common questions about dashboards: reporting and correcting a wrong or missing answer, adjusting lists, finding content and asking for additional questions.

Here you find short answers to questions we are often asked about dashboards. Everything else is in Dashboards: Overview and navigation.

How do I report a wrong or missing result?

If an answer in a dashboard is wrong or an important finding is missing, we want to know. Our team reviews every report.

  1. Open the support chat with the question mark "Help" at the top right and choose "Report a problem" — or just write to us in the chat.

  2. Give us the case reference (as shown in the cases overview), the dashboard and question — easiest with "Copy link" in the card's three-dot menu — and what you would have expected.

  3. We confirm receipt in the chat, review the case and get back to you. There is no need to send an email.

An answer in the dashboard is wrong or incomplete. Can I correct it myself?

It depends on the card type:

  • Text answers, for example on Question or External sources cards — At the foot of the card, click "Edit answer", add to or change the text and keep it with "Save"

  • Traffic Light — Click the pencil icon next to the traffic light to open "Edit traffic light"

  • List — You correct individual rows, see the next question

  • Timeline or Calendar — These show entries from lists on the same dashboard. Correct the entry in the list, and the timeline and calendar pick up the correction. If you don't see the list on the dashboard, report the error in the chat

  • Reference Document — You cannot edit this card yourself. Report the error in the chat

The original CasePilot answer is kept: clicking the origin note at the foot of the card opens "Version of this answer", where you switch between "Edited" and "AI". Your correction applies to the version you made it in.

"Edit answer" and the traffic light's pencil appear only when your role may correct answers and you are viewing the current version; "Edit answer" also needs the card to show a finished answer. If there is already an edited version, switch to "Edited" first. Either way, report the error in the chat so we can fix it. More in the sections "Correcting answers" and "Setting a traffic light" of Dashboards: Overview and navigation.

A row in a list is wrong or missing. What can I do?

If your role may correct answers, you adjust a list yourself. The actions sit at the right edge of each row:

  • "Edit row" (pencil icon) changes the values and sources of a row

  • "Exclude" (bin icon) takes a row out of the analysis. It stays visible, struck through, and "Restore" brings it back

  • "Add row" under the table adds a missing row, even to an empty list

Here, too, the CasePilot answer is kept. While the list is being answered, or while you are viewing an older version, "Edit row" and "Add row" are missing. If there is already an edited version, switch to "Edited" first, otherwise all icons are missing. If you cannot change the list, report the error in the chat. More in the section "Editing lists" of Dashboards: Overview and navigation.

Where in the dashboard do I find a specific overview, such as treatments or billing?

Which dashboards, sections and questions exist differs from workspace to workspace. This is how you find what your dashboard holds on a topic:

  1. Pick the right dashboard in the bar at the top, if the case has more than one.

  2. Type a term such as "treatment" or "invoice" into the "Search in this dashboard" field at the very top. It searches questions, descriptions and answers, including those in collapsed sections. The / key jumps straight into it, as long as keyboard shortcuts are enabled.

  3. Reveal collapsed sections with "Show additional sections".

Bills and reports are also documents of the case: in Document study you narrow the document list with the Document types section of the filter sidebar, see the section "Filter by document type" of Document study: Filter and select documents. If your dashboard has no matching question, ask CasePilot, see AI assistants: CasePilot.

I would like an additional question in the dashboard. Who do I contact?

Which dashboards exist and which questions they ask is set up by amaise together with your organization. If you would like an additional question or a dashboard of your own, talk to the person responsible for amaise in your organization, or to us in the support chat.

Why do the answers differ between two versions?

Every fill creates a new version with freshly generated CasePilot answers. The answer to the same question can therefore be worded or weighted differently, especially if new documents have arrived in the meantime. Why AI answers vary is explained in AI assistants: Why answers can vary.

You find earlier versions of an answer through the origin note at the foot of the card, under "Version of this answer", and every version of the dashboard in the "Version history" in the toolbar. Your corrections stay with the version you made them in.
