Welcome to amaise
amaise is your AI-powered platform for document analysis and case management. The app automatically reads your documents, extracts relevant information, and provides intelligent assistants — so you can focus on what matters most.
For the best experience, we recommend Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
The cases overview
After logging in, you’ll arrive at the cases overview — your central starting point. Here you see all your cases at a glance.
Search — Use the search bar to find cases by name or reference.
Filter — Narrow the display using filters like status or responsible person.
Sort — Adjust the order with sorting options.

Creating a case
Click the plus icon (+) in the top right corner of the cases overview. The Create new case wizard opens and guides you through three steps.
1. Case data — Enter the personal details: First name, Last name, and Customer / Policyholder. If needed, add a Case reference and a Responsible person; if your workspace uses access groups, you also pick an Access group here. Then click Continue to upload.
📷 A screenshot is coming here soon.
2. File upload — Drag your files into the area or click "Select files". Then click Create case and start processing.
3. Confirmation — You'll see your uploaded files with their status. amaise starts processing your case right away; you can close the window with Close and come back anytime. You'll get an email once everything is ready, if email notifications are enabled.

Want to import your cases automatically from an existing system? Feel free to contact us, and we’ll help you set it up!
Opening a case
Click a case to open it. amaise brings you back to where you last left off — a short note offers Start fresh if you'd rather begin at the default view. Two bars help you find your way:
Views (left bar) — Switch between the main views of the case: Dashboards, Case history, and Document study. While Document study is active, extra panels appear below it, such as the document storage and the exports.
Tools (right edge) — CasePilot, DocPilot, Case notes, Manage access, and Collaboration are available in every view.

Uploading documents
You can add more documents to an existing case at any time — processing starts automatically.
📷 A screenshot is coming here soon.
In the cases overview, open the case's file manager via the folder icon on the case card. The "Files in case" window opens.
Drag your files into the upload area or click "Select files". If your workspace allows folder upload, the folder icon next to it ("Select whole folder") adds a whole folder including its subfolders.
amaise checks and processes each file automatically: OCR, segmentation, classification, and information extraction run in the background. Newly added files get a Just added label.
If a file can't be uploaded, the row turns red and the reason appears under the file name — for example a duplicate or a file type your workspace does not accept. The other files keep uploading. Use Clear failed to remove those rows and try again. The window stays open, so you can add several files one after another.

Note: You can add up to 500 files per upload; each file must be under 2 GB. A whole folder counts as one of those files; a folder, archive, or email brings in at most 1000 files, including everything nested inside it. PDF files are enabled for every workspace by default; other formats such as images, Office documents, emails, and archives are available once amaise has enabled them for your workspace. PDF files have no page limit — a PDF with more than 500 pages is split into parts automatically. A password-protected PDF appears as not processed; depending on your workspace you can enter the password directly in the file list, otherwise remove the protection and upload the file again. You'll find the details in the article Cases overview: Supported file formats and upload limits.
Using AI assistants
amaise offers you three AI assistants:
CasePilot — Ask questions about an entire case. CasePilot analyzes all documents and provides answers with source references.
DocPilot — Ask questions about a single document or a selection of documents. DocPilot knows the content in detail.
LegalPilot — Research legal information independently of case content (BETA). LegalPilot has no own icon — you reach it via the scope switcher (gavel) in the chat.
Just type your question into the chat field and get a well-founded answer within seconds.

You can switch between the pilots anytime — via the icons in the tool bar on the right edge or the speed dial left of the input field.
