Here you find answers to questions we are often asked about the case history. The article Case history: Overview and navigation explains how the case history is structured.
An entry in the case history is wrong or missing. How do I report it?
If an entry in the case history is wrong or a document or an important finding is missing, we want to know. Our team reviews every report.
Open the support chat with the question mark "Help" at the top right and choose "Report a problem" — or just write to us in the chat.
Give us the case reference (as shown in the cases overview), the view and the entry — easiest with the "Copy link" icon at the top right of the entry you clicked — and what you would have expected, for example "the X-ray report from one week before the accident should appear as a pre-existing condition".
We confirm receipt in the chat, review the case and get back to you. There is no need to send an email.
What can I correct in an entry myself?
You don't have to wait for us to keep working on the case. Each entry belongs to a document. Click the entry and its icons appear at the top right:
Summary — Click the pencil icon Edit or double-click the text, adjust it and click Save. You change the summary in the language currently shown. A chip with your name then shows who adjusted it.
Title, document date and details such as the issuer — To edit a field, double-click it, change the value and confirm with Enter. Press Escape to cancel. The case history is sorted by document date.
Work impairments — If an entry shows work impairments, double-click to change their period and degree. Add a missing one with the plus icon Add work impairment. More in the article Document study: Work impairment overview, section "Review and correct entries".
Document doesn't belong in the case history — The trash icon Remove from case history moves the document to the trash. It then disappears from the case history and from Document study. You can restore it from the trash.
Wrong document type — You change the document type in Document study, see Document study: Document list, section "Actions per document". The document type determines in which views of the case history the document appears.
If you don't see the Edit and Remove from case history icons, your role doesn't allow corrections. In that case, report the problem in the chat.
An entry is missing. Where do I find the document?
Check these points first:
View — Each view at the top of the case history, such as "Medical case overview", shows only certain document types. Switch the view. The Custom view is not limited to specific document types, if your workspace offers it.
Filters — If the selected view is outlined and has a circular arrow next to it, your filters or the trash make the case history show different entries than the view. Click the circular arrow (Restore default filters for this view) to see all entries of the view again.
No date — Documents without a detected date are listed at the end under Documents without date.
Still processing — While documents are being processed, the toolbar above the entries shows a notice such as 2 documents processing. Click it to list them under Not yet in the case history.
Trash — Documents in the trash appear in the case history only when you choose Trash at the top of the filter sidebar. Document study: Organizing documents explains how to restore them.
If you find the document in Document study but in no view of the case history, or if it is missing entirely, report it to us as described above.
Earlier X-rays or a pre-existing condition are missing from the case history. What now?
Report it to us as described above. Tell us which finding you expect and where it should appear. We review the case and get back to you.
In the meantime, you find the records in Document study:
Use the full-text search to look for terms such as "X-ray", see Document study: Full-text search.
Check the document type and document date of the document you found. A document appears only in the views of the case history that include its document type.
The case history lists documents, not individual findings. A pre-existing condition appears there only in the summary of the document that describes it. If it is missing from that summary, you can add it yourself as described above.
How do I narrow down the case history?
View — The buttons at the top show predefined views, such as "Medical case overview" or "Career history". Which views you see depends on your workspace.
Filter sidebar — Open it with the Dossiers and document types icon on the left of the toolbar above the entries. In the Custom view it is always open. The entries are affected by Dossiers, Document types, Labels, the Trash and the Date range. The Annotations and More sections don't change the case history.
Period — The calendar icon Filter documents by date on the right of the toolbar narrows the entries down by document date.
Reset — The circular arrow next to the selected view (Restore default filters for this view) clears all filters, restores the view's filters and switches back to Active.
The article Document study: Filter and select documents explains how the individual filter sections work.
